My name is Mr. Dustin Dees and this is my fourth year at North Ward ! I am really excited to be a part of such a great school system filled with wonderful students, parents, teachers, administrators, and staff. I originate from St. Joseph, IL, but recently move to Tuscola with my wife Valerie, who is also a PE teacher at Mahomet – Seymour Junior High. I graduated from SIUC in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree of physical education and graduated from EIU in 2013 with a master’s degree of education administration.  

Before teaching at North Ward I spent the 2 years at Bismarck - Henning Junior High teaching PE and Coaching 8th grade girls basketball, High School girls basketball, and Junior High Track and Field. I also spent 5 years teaching in the Decatur Public School district, where I coached 2 years of junior high girls basketball, 2 years of junior high boys basketball, 1 year of junior high track, and served as athletic director for 3 years. In addition to my duties in Decatur, I coached high school girls’ basketball and junior high track and field at Monticello CUSD 25 for the 2013 -  2014 season.

My favorite things to do outside of school are spending time with my wife Valerie and my sons Colton and Ryker, golfing, running,  and watching/cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals, Chicago Bears, Illinois Basketball, and Illinois Football.
